- Booking Terms and Conditions
1.1 General Issues
- These Booking Terms and Conditions apply to the booking of the Exeter Activity Centre product(s) (the ‘Activities”) and any ancillary products at the location set out in Exeter Activity Centre’s booking confirmation.
- These Booking Terms and Conditions contain important information concerning participation by you and members of your party and, accordingly, you acknowledge and agree that you shall ensure that all members of your party are aware of and accept these Booking Terms and Conditions.
- No variation to these Booking Terms and Conditions shall be binding unless agreed in writing by Exeter Activity Centre.
- Any typographical clerical or other error or omission in any booking confirmation or other documentation issued by Exeter Activity Centre (including any electronic documentation) shall be subject to correction without any liability on the part of Exeter Activity Centre.
- Exeter Activity Centre reserves the right to make changes to the Activities whether to conform with any applicable safety, other statutory requirements or otherwise.
1.2 Booking Confirmation
- No booking shall be deemed to have been accepted unless accepted in writing by Exeter Activity Centre (which shall include Exeter Activity Centre’s email confirmation of booking).
- These Booking Terms and Conditions incorporate Exeter Activity Centre’s Privacy Policy, and Risk Acknowledgement and Disclaimer. You and each member of your party will be required to sign the Risk Acknowledgement and Disclaimer before being allowed to undertake the Activities.
- You must advise Exeter Activity Centre as soon as possible of any mistake in Exeter Activity Centre’s booking confirmation. Exeter Activity Centre shall use its reasonable endeavours to ensure that you and your party’s participation commences at the time booked and it shall be the responsibility of each participant to ensure that they arrive in sufficient time. Late arrivals may not be permitted to undertake the Activities and no refunds or compensation will be payable in such circumstances.
1.3 Safety
- The Activities comprise challenging activities and participation is not without risk as falls or accidents could be fatal. All participants will receive detailed safety training from an instructor.
- Exeter Activity Centre reserves the right to refuse admittance to the Activities or to remove a participant from the Activities should it deem it necessary to do so. This includes a participant who does not comply with the safety rules and advice, the safety system, safe use of the equipment or who is deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Any behaviour whether that be verbal, physical or in writing, which causes staff to feel uncomfortable, embarrassed or threatened, is totally unacceptable and will lead to your booking being cancelled and no refund will be issued. The Zero Tolerance policy includes abuse, aggression or threats made in person, over the telephone or in written communication, including on social media.
- All participants are required to act responsibly and courteously at all times and to respect other participants. Exeter Activity Centre shall be entitled to prevent any person from undertaking or completing the Activities in the event it deems the behaviour of any participant unsuitable.
- Participants must be dressed appropriately (see clause 4) and Exeter Activity Centre reserves the right to refuse admittance to the Activities to any participant who is not appropriately dressed.
- Any player that risks their own safety or the safety of others on site will be ejected immediately and no refund will be issued.
- Please speak to a member of staff about food allergies and intolerances before ordering food.
- Only paintballs supplied by Exeter Activity Centre Paintball may be used at our venue.
- Failure to follow game rules of any activity set out by the marshals will result in removal from the activity without refund. Exeter Activity Centre reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone without reason.
- The Activities will remain open in most weather conditions.
- No refunds or compensation will be payable by Exeter Activity Centre in the event that any participant is not permitted to, or decides not to, undertake or complete the Activities for the reasons set out in this clause.
- If participants have medical concerns they are advised to consult their doctor in advance. Participants will be required to certify that they do not suffer from any medical condition which would make it more likely that they would be involved in any incident which could result in injury to themselves or others. Due to the physical nature of the Activities, Exeter Activity Centre recommends that pregnant women should not take part. Pregnant women who still wish to undertake the activities will be required to sign a disclaimer confirming that they are aware that there are risks to them and to their unborn child and that participation in the Activities is at their own risk. (see Risk Acknowledgement and Disclaimer).
- All signs and information provided on site must be adhered to at all times. Failure to do so with risk site ejection.
- All participants are required to wear the following activity-specific equipment:
Paintball: Full face protection, overalls, chest protection and sensible footwear for the weather conditions in a forest e.g. boots.
Airsoft: Full face protection, overalls and sensible footwear for the weather conditions in a forest e.g. boots.
Laser Tag: Eye protection and sensible footwear for the weather conditions in a forest e.g. boots.
Nerf: Full face protection and sensible footwear for the weather conditions in a forest e.g. boots.
Gel Blaster: Full face protection and sensible footwear for the weather conditions in a forest e.g. boots.
Axe Throwing: Sensible footwear for the weather conditions in a forest e.g. boots.
Air Rifle Shooting: Eye protection and sensible footwear for the weather conditions in a forest e.g. boots.
Electronic Target Shooting: Eye protection and sensible footwear for the weather conditions in a forest e.g. boots.
If you have any concerns regarding the fit of the full face protection or eye protection we advise that you visit a site at a time prior to your booking and speak to a member of the Exeter Activity Centre staff. Anyone who does not meet these requirements will not be allowed to undertake the Activities. It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your party meet these requirements.
- All participants are required to meet the following activity-specific supervision:
All Activities: A participating adult (18+ years old) must accompany under 16 year olds. One adult is permitted to supervise up to 8 under 6 year olds. An adult must be present to supervise up to 8 children between 6 – 15 years old, a minimum of 1 adult must be present per group; they can participate in the activities or supervise from the safe zone.
1.4 Clothing
- It shall be the responsibility of all participants to ensure that they are dressed appropriately and Exeter Activity Centre advises participants to wear clothing suitable for the weather conditions and the Activities and which they do not mind getting damaged. In particular the following restrictions shall apply:
- Participants may not undertake the Activities in open-toed or slip-off shoes (ankle-supporting boots are best)
- Where overalls are provided, shorts and t-shirts are best. This is to keep body your temperature low to ensure the full face protection does not fog/mist up.
- Exeter Activity Centre will not be responsible for any damage to or loss of clothing or other personal items of persons resulting from participation in the Activities.
1.5.1 Moving bookings, cancellations and refunds
- Up to 48 hours prior to your activity date you can cancel an existing booking and receive a full refund. You can also amend your booking free of charge. In the event of a booking being previously moved or changed within 7 days of the activity but subsequently attempted to be cancelled, where the revised date is greater than 7 days prior, the companies 48 hour refund and cancellation process (1.5.1b) will take precedence.
- Within 48 hours of the booking date, if Exeter Activity Centre are operational, you will not be entitled to move your booking, or receive any refunds for cancellations.
- Should Exeter Activity Centre feel it’s necessary to cancel your booking, it shall use reasonable endeavours to notify you as soon as possible. You shall be entitled to a full refund in the event of cancellation under this clause, but no other compensation shall be payable.
- Any player not able to attend on the day due to sickness, transport issues or any other circumstances are not entitled to a refund. However any consumables including paintballs, bbs & food will be given to the event organiser.
- Should Exeter Activity Centre, for reasons beyond their control, feel it is necessary to close the activity once your party have already commenced participation, you will be offered alternative times or dates to return within three months and rescheduled free of charge. In such circumstances, you will not be entitled to a refund, in part or whole.
*in all other weather conditions, we operate as normal and standard conditions apply. - Payments made by debit or credit card will be refunded to the same card or, if the card has subsequently expired, by cheque. Payments made by Gift Voucher will be refunded by the issuing of a replacement Gift Voucher to the same value.
- Where multiple forms of payment are used, Exeter Activity Centre reserves the right to refund any monies due on a refund or amendment by credit or cheque.
1.6 Price and Payment
Subject to any terms agreed in writing between Exeter Activity Centre and you, our charges shall be calculated at our current rates and payment in full shall be due at the time of booking. The charges include the cost of purchasing the Activities. Payment may be made by debit or credit card either online or by contacting the booking line: 01548 580 025.
1.7 Liabilities
- Except as otherwise provided in these Booking Terms and Conditions Exeter Activity Centre shall not be responsible for the loss, or damage, of or to any property or to any person arising from the booking of, or participation in, the Activities.
- Parking facilities are available at the site, and any vehicles are left at the owners’ risk and subject to any conditions and the payment of any fees as may be required by the provider of such facilities at the site location.
- Lockers are provided FREE of charge (£10 deposit for the key, refunded on return).
- All deposits must be collected on the day of the event from reception. Failure to do so will forfeit all deposits.
- Any free products including paintballs, bbs, food,.. are only given to players attending session on the day.
- Any equipment or site fitting broken or lost onsite must be paid for by the person attending the session or party organiser.
- Any offer that includes items (including paintballs, grenades, so on..) will be given to the player, customer, spectator for the last game of their session. Any player, customer, spectator that is late for their session forfeit/not receive all special offers and items included.
- Except as otherwise provided in these Booking Terms and Conditions any liability of Exeter Activity Centre shall be limited to the refund of any charges paid to Exeter Activity Centre.
- Nothing contained in these Booking Terms and Conditions is intended to, nor shall, limit the liability of Exeter Activity Centre in respect of death or personal injury caused by the negligence of Exeter Activity Centre or of its employees, agents or contractors.
1.8 Miscellaneous
- If any of these terms are determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable, it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and the remaining terms shall survive, remain in full force and continue to be binding and enforceable.
- Nothing above shall confer on any third party any benefit or the right to enforce any of these Booking Terms and Conditions.
- These Booking Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the country in which the activity is located.
- Products and Services
2.1 Making a Purchase
Browse our products and add any items that you wish to buy into the basket. By submitting your order you are offering to buy goods and allowing us to use your personal details for the purpose of supplying those goods. All online orders are confirmed by email. We will contact you by e-mail or telephone regarding any problems or security issues.
2.2 Credit Card Security
All online purchases take place safely, using Internet security technology to protect our customers. All credit card information and personal data is encrypted to ensure your purchases with us are private and protected, using SSL technology.
2.3 Payment
You can pay for your order by using the following: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Delta/Connect or Maestro. All card payments are authorised at the point of ordering, which will require the cardholder’s full details including name, address and telephone number. These must match the exact details registered with the card user.
2.4 Content
Although Exeter Activity Centre will do their best to ensure the accuracy of all information within this website, we shall not be liable for damages of any kind resulting from the use of this site.
2.5 Pricing
If a product is advertised at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or a supplier error, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order whether or not said order has been confirmed. In such a case we will make you aware of this and a full refund will be given, if required. All Product and Services prices are shown in points sterling and are inclusive of the current standard rate at the time of booking.
2.6 Customer Service

2.7 Complaints
If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with the service you have received, please contact us. Email info@exeteractivitycentre.com. Your email will be investigated immediately with the site and health and safety team. We aim to respond within 28 days but will keep you informed if it is likely to take longer. Details of all complaints will be reviewed so we can continue to improve our customer service.
- Gift Vouchers
3.1 General Conditions
- Vouchers are valid for a year from purchase. The gift voucher expiration date will be stated on them and can’t be used after that date.
- Vouchers can’t be replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed.
- Vouchers can’t be refunded or exchanged for cash or other denominated vouchers.
- Experience vouchers are set to a specific activity and no change will be given.
- Vouchers can’t be sold to any third parties without our consent. If we do give our consent, then such consent may be subject to any conditions which we impose. In any event you may not sell the vouchers through the internet without our express written consent, which you must obtain before making any such sale. We reserve the right at all times to refuse to permit any sale of vouchers by you to a third party.
